I woke up this morning to the sound of the radio "Somebody that I used to know" was playing. I don't like that song but I don't know why. . .
Anyway I didn't get much sleep last night I was trying to get my head around everything that had happened yesterday from me foreseeing Sam falling down the elevator shaft, to actually meeting her. It was so strange to think that I, a socially awkward teenager (well that's what Shaun says anyway) managed to save a persons life.
The hospital room seemed brighter today and I felt the best I had since the crash. When I was asleep the nurses had been in and changed the flowers in the vase next to me and opened the curtains so wide the the sunlight engulfed the room. I turned over and glanced at the clock, 7.45. The nurses would be round with the breakfast menu's soon. Today I was particularly hungry which was odd because I was never hungry in the morning.
